NorthShore Regional Medical Center (NSRMC) will once again offer AARP Driver Safety Courses in 2010. The four-hour courses are held bi-monthly in the Bayou Room of the Neuroscience Institute on the hospital campus. The 2010 course dates are:

Classes begin at 9 a.m. and advance registration is required. Fee is $12 for AARP members and $14 for non-members. Payment is made to the AARP representative on the day of the course. Interested individuals may call 1-888-NSRMC-4U (1-888-677-6248) for more information and to register.
The course is taught by an AARP-trained volunteer and covers topics such as current traffic rules and defensive driving techniques. Participants are eligible for a certificate of completion upon completion of the course. The course is open to licensed drivers of all ages and AARP membership is not required to take the course.
