Diabetes Support Groups Offered for Adults and Children 
 
 
 
 
 

NorthShore Regional Medical Center now offers two separate diabetes support groups for adults and children.

Our adult diabetes support group meets quarterly from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Neuroscience Institute, Bayou Room, 2nd Floor, 104 Medical Center Drive, on the NSRMC campus. The group is open to diabetics and their families and there is no fee to attend. Doraine Woods, RN, NSRMC diabetes educator moderates the group. Discussion varies upon the attendees needs.

Our newly formed pediatric diabetes support group meets bi-monthly in the Neuroscience Institute at NSRMC, at 104 Medical Center Dr. Diabetic children and their parents are invited to attend. For upcoming dates and times, please contact Doraine Woods, RN at 985.646.5086.
