In case of complications, NorthShore’s Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is just steps away. Providing the highest state-recognized level of care for premature and sick newborns, the NICU is staffed by neonatologists, neonatal nurse practitioners available 24/7 and specially trained nurses. In addition to delivering advanced care to babies, the staff works with parents to educate them about their baby’s condition and offer essential support.

Classes Educate The Entire Family
NorthShore offers an array of classes to prepare families for their new arrival: childbirth preparation, infant safety/CPR, parenting, breastfeeding and more.
