Regardless of the type of rehabilitation needed, the goal is always the same--to help each patient regain lost function and return to the fullest life possible.
“Our teams of licensed clinical therapists deliver skill, experience and advanced technology in a completely updated outpatient facility,” says NorthShore's new Director of Neuroscience Paul McCann. “It is designed to bring advanced rehabilitation care to outpatients from throughout the Gulf Coast region.”
The facility, part of the $3.5 million Institute that opened to inpatients earlier in 2007, serves children and adults with a variety of conditions. Located in its own building on the NorthShore campus, with convenient parking, it is especially accessible to outpatients.
Outpatient therapy is part of NorthShore’s spectrum of highly rated rehabilitation services. Healthgrades.com rated NorthShore Five Stars in Stroke Care for 2006. We were ranked first in stroke care in the Slidell area for the past two years.
Patients benefit from the team approach. Led by a medical director board-certified in rehabilitation medicine, the staff evaluates each patient and produces a comprehensive therapeutic plan tailored to specific goals.
