Kimberly Holmes

Kimberly Holmes, Plant Operations/Volunteer Services Coordinator at NSRMC, was named Employee of the Month for October. Holmes was recognized at the hospital's monthly award program.

Holmes has worked at NorthShore since 1990. She is a member of the Employee Activities Committee, Decontamination Team and Community Hurricane Action Team. Holmes enjoys participating in the planning of emergency drills and getting to the know the hospital volunteers. She says the secret to her success is “remembering that God has given me a job and that I should perform that job to the best of my ability.” Outside of NorthShore, Holmes enjoys raising her family, working with the Girls in Action program, reading and walking.

	Brenda Ashley, RN

Brenda Ashley, RN III, Coordinator, Emergency Room (ER) at NorthShore Regional Medical Center (NSRMC), was named Employee of the Month for November. Ashley was recognized at the monthly award program.

Ashley has worked at NorthShore since 1994. During her tenure at NorthShore, she has worked as an ER Technician, unit secretary, courier and registered nurse. Ashley assists with hospital sponsored education programs and serves on several committees, including Target 100, ER Commitment to Quality (ERC2Q) and Decontamination Team. Ashley enjoys taking care of the people that live and work in her community, saying its like caring for friends and family. Ashley says the secret to her success is “having the privilege of working with a wonderful group of people.” Outside of NorthShore, Ashley enjoys raising her teenage son, reading, attending concerts, theatre and other community art events.

Employees of the month at NorthShore Regional receive a special polo shirt, a lapel pin, a $100 gift check, a coupon to a local restaurant, placement on the employee of the month plaque in the hospital cafeteria and an opportunity to be selected as employee of the year.
