Volunteers Recognized at Annual Luncheon

NorthShore Regional Medical Center (NSRMC) recently held its annual volunteer luncheon to recognize those individuals who commit their time to volunteering at the hospital. The luncheon took place at Pinewood Country Club. The volunteers were honored for their service to NSRMC and to the NorthShore Regional Medical Center Auxiliary.

In 2006, 42 active volunteers dedicated 13,434 hours of their time to the hospital. Volunteers Sue Anderson, Dorothy Chadbourne, Isora Enxing and Laura LeBlanc were recognized for 20 years of service. Sally Cool, who has been a volunteer since 1996 and has 2597 total hours devoted to the hospital, was named Hospital Volunteer of the Year. Auxiliary Volunteer of the Year was Margaret Diecidue, who has volunteered since 2005 and has 166 volunteer hours.

NSRMC has many volunteer opportunities available. Individuals interested in volunteering at NorthShore Regional Medical Center should call Kimberly Holmes, Volunteer Coordinator, at 985.646.5021
