Alan E. Hodges, Chief Operating Officer

NorthShore Regional Medical Center announced the promotion of Alan E. Hodges, MBA, to the position of chief operating officer effective March 17, 2008. In his position as COO, Hodges will be responsible for the operational management of ancillary and support services at the hospital.

Hodges previously served as chief financial officer of NorthShore Regional Medical Center since November 2003. He joined Tenet in 1998 and has served in various hospital financial and administrative positions since his healthcare career began in 1987.

“Alan’s previous healthcare positions and his knowledge of healthcare issues will help to build the foundation for our administrative team,” said Alan Cason, chief executive officer of NorthShore Regional Medical Center. “I am confident that he will do an excellent job in his new role at NorthShore Regional Medical Center.”

Hodges earned his bachelor of science degree in finance from Louisiana State University and masters degree in business administration from the University of New Orleans.

An active member of the Slidell community, Hodges serves on various business and civic boards within the local area, including Chairman of the Board for the East St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce. He is married with four children.
