| NorthShore Regional Names New CNO and Associate Administrator |

NorthShore Regional Medical Center has appointed Gail Gaudry, RN, and Dave Goodson to the positions of Chief Nursing Officer and Associate Administrator. “We welcome the newest members of the administrative team to the Slidell community,” said Alan Cason, Chief Executive Officer at NSRMC.
Gaudry was a consultant of Commitment to Quality for Tenet Healthcare Corporation, the parent company of NSRMC. She was Chief Nursing Officer at Lindy Boggs Medical Center in New Orleans from 2004 to 2005. From 1999 to 2004 she was the Associate Director of Patient Care Services at NSRMC.
She holds a masters in nursing from Belford University and a bachelor’s in nursing from The University of South Alabama. A 37-year veteran of the healthcare industry, she has worked 19 years in the areas of management, quality, case management, and intensive care nursing for adults, children and babies.
She was recognized as Manager of the Year during her service at NSRMC, Doctor’s Hospital of Jefferson, and West Park Hospital in Hammond. She is the recipient of the Great 100 Nursing Award for 2002.

Dave Goodson, Associate Administrator, comes from Memorial Medical Center where he held positions of Associate Administrator, Executive Director of Procomp and Director of Transportation. Prior to that he was Director of Support Services for Tenet New Orleans and Assistant Administrator at St. Charles General Hospital.
Goodson holds a bachelor’s in business management and a masters in healthcare management from the University of New Orleans. Over the years, he has managed various departments, including pharmacy, rehabilitation services, security, plant operations, environmental services and food services.
His civic activities include United Way Campaign Chairman, St. Bernard Parish Alliance for Good Government, St. Bernard Parish Recycling Committee, and St. Catherine of Sienna Men’s Club. |
